Today,I made a fragrant mutton curry.The multimedia below might be useful to cook a Kashmiri (unsure,please don't quote me on this) fragrant mutton curry. For serious cooks who want to quantify ingredients,feel free to post comment(s)!. Simple living,simpler thinking -10 minutes from the life of an ordinary Indian goldsmith
It was too late in the afternoon to be a late afternoon,when we walked in a big jewellary showroom in Bangalore for an odd fixing job.Nestled in the dimly lit heart of the shop,in a 2.5 by 6.5 foot concealed hole in the wall,we found the goldsmith.He spends his days mending broken necklaces,expanding and contracting the yellow metal at his will oblivious to the curious and the greedy eyes of the shopper.
He unmindfully retorted to my significant other's query of whether he remembered her from two years back that it is getting tough for him to remember faces.
With his eyes on the melting gold he added that God also only remembers certain faces and the rest of them were alike!
He sincerely wished that he would have studied beyond sixth standard so that he could articulate his thoughts better.
Finally as the repair job was done we exchanged goodbye and moved on.......
